Since 2011, Nicolette Chambery has worked to change the criminal justice system through advocacy and policy reform. She followed her passion to New York in 2016 to expand her efforts through philanthropy to empower disadvantaged communities around the world. She has personally experienced the transformation of a steady yoga practice, and she strongly believes in the life-altering power the yoga community can bring to those in need both domestically and abroad.
Anna Szymanski is the Senior Strategy Officer at c3i, a political risk startup, and the co-host of the Slate Money Podcast. Anna previously worked on an emerging markets distressed debt strategy at Oaktree Capital Management. Anna has an MA and BA from New York University.
Elisa Udaskin is a seasoned marketing leader with 18+ years of experience in Fortune 500 company Mondelez International, formerly Kraft Foods, Nabisco and Cadbury. While working in Corporate roles Elisa has always integrated social corporate responsibility into her work, building programs to help those in need. She is passionate about promoting girls education for those who are less advantaged as she believes that education opens up possibilities for brighter futures. She currently also advises Brillo de Sol, a school in Guatemala.
Lauren Bradford has worked around the world in international development with the United Nations in East Timor, the OECD and UNESCO in Paris, and the World Bank - she is now Director of Global Partnerships at Foundation Center in New York. Lauren is a natural high energy leader, excelling in strategy development, advisory capacity building, partnership development and workshop facilitation – she believes that complex societal issues can-not be solved alone or in silos, and hence expertise must be leveraged across a range of platforms and people. She is a thought leader for the field, frequently authoring and contributing blogs and research reports, speaking at conferences and facilitating workshops around the world.

Eva Ramirez is a London-based writer focused on travel, wellness and lifestyle. She has lent her voice to publications such as Vogue, Refinery29 and Psychologies amongst others. Eva balances her love for writing with brand work, where she creates and edits content and consults on marketing and social media. She recently went freelance with her work after three years as Director of Marketing, Communications & Content at Hemsley + Hemsley, for whom she still consults. Starting out in the fashion industry after obtaining a BA (Hons) Journalism degree, Eva has held positions with Alexander McQueen, The British Fashion Council and WGSN.

Annabel Downs is an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs. She has spent eight years at the firm as a trader focused on leveraged loans and asset backed securities. Annabel has worked on a number of initiatives sponsoring gender equality in the workforce and is an advocate for female leadership. Annabel was nominated for the U.K.’s Women in Finance Awards 2018.
Annabel earned her bachelors and masters degrees from Imperial College London, in Theoretical Physics.

Betty moved from San Francisco to New York in 2011 to pursue her dream of living in the city. Betty is a program manager, producing regional conferences. She works with U.S. asset allocators, helping to build relationships between pension funds, endowments, foundations, insurance companies and investment consultants. She took her love for yoga practice deeper when she decided to earn her 200-hour yoga teaching certification. She currently teaches vinyasa yoga in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Betty met Souljourn Yoga’s founder Jordan Ashley in 2016, at a yoga studio where they both worked. Jordan introduced Betty to Souljourn's essential mission, which she felt the calling to support their cause.

Michael is a financial professional with a background in institutional asset management and global investment. He has conducted business across 5 continents and lived in the US, China, Australia, and Europe.
Since 2013, Michael has worked with philanthropic endeavours supporting entrepreneurs and small businesses in crisis-affected regions and those rebuilding after war and civil unrest. This charitable work has focused on communities in South-East Asia, Western Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. He has seen first-hand, and firmly believes in, access to education as a powerful driver for positive social change.
Michael was educated at Harvard University, the London School of Economics, and Peking University’s Guanghua School of Management.

Sharon is an attorney, writer, and educator focused on animal protection legislation. She is a member of the NYC Bar Association’s Animal Law Committee and its Mindfulness & Well-Being in Law Committee. In addition to a JD from University of Arizona, Sharon received MA degrees from Georgetown University (Literature) and New York University (Industrial/Organizational Psychology). Sharon is a certified yoga instructor; as founder of Lyric Yoga and Wellness in Tucson she created Khela Kids, a program for children and teens that incorporated yoga and “core values” to foster self-empowerment and social responsibility.
