NicARAGUA + THE GIRLS' HOME 2017
Souljourn Yoga Foundation and Alma Retreats traveled down to Nicaragua for a week of sweet sandy beaches, seva, inspired jewelry making with Elizabeth Vallenilla and invigorating yoga all in the spirit of supporting the Girls Home, an organization that supports and houses girls who have been deemed "social orphans" due to distinctive circumstances and provide education, shelter, and care.

The Hogar de Niñas (The Girls' Home) in Granada, Nicaragua, is a home for girls who have been mistreated, abused, raped, or their carers struggle to provide for them as they themselves may have been affected by a life of drug addiction or prostitution. It is run by an order of nuns called Madre Albertina. The Girls' Home gives the girls the opportunity to live and learn in a safe and caring environment. For every participant going on our Nicaragua retreats, where we visit The Girls' Home, $300 of the total amount of the cost of retreat will be donated directly to The Girls' Home and our goal is to match every $300 donation.
With your help, we will be able to meet that goal.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, is greatly needed and appreciated.
Please help us to build a generation of educated and empowered young women across the globe.
